In the vast and bustling world of social media, where influencers seemingly appear around every corner there are those who stand out from the crowd through their authenticity, empowering messages and genuine connection with their audience. One such beacon of inspiration is none other than Chandra Josette Giambrone, @cee_jae_gee, a content creator and influencer based in The Big Apple, New York City. She has captured the hearts of thousands with her refreshing take on style, and especially matching traditional outfits with the family!

Coming from a multicultural background, she celebrates diversity in her work and her Instagram feed is delightful tapestry of fashion-forward looks. Chandra and her family embrace the colourful heritage of Pakistan with fashion, celebrating a variety of textiles, languages and traditions. Chandra is Greek mixed American married to a Pakistani American and together their Greek-Istani family aims to bring people together, for she knows that unity is found through embracing our differences. For her, love is love, no matter where you come from, and she where you come from, and she strives to create an all-inclusive space. With her content, she hopes to open minds and hearts by using fashion and culture to inspire everyone

Chandraʼs Instagram began as a Chandraʼs Instagram began as a personal photo journaling page, and a place to share pieces of motherhood journey. She was one of the first creators to focus on matching mommy and me traditional Pakistani wear. Working with UK/US brands from around the world to create magical unique images featuring her family. Her unlikely mission soon proved successful and storming the internet with viral posts, she slowly grew a following. For Chandra, it was a dream come true. Six years later, she continues to be a source of inspiration, for mothers everywhere, encouraging them to embrace their heritage and create memories together with their little ones in everything.

Collaborating with fashion designers, brands and photographer, Chandra and her family continue to expand their reach within the fashion industry. As her influence continues to grow, there is no doubt that the Greek-istani family will continue to inspire fashion!

“I find that balancing motherhood and creating can be a crazy uphill battle, but it’s so incredibly rewarding. I know from experience that when you have a newborn, you are just as vulnerable and new as they are. So carving out time for myself has and always has been a priority. I’m also big on scheduling date nights – both inside and outside the house – with my husband and friends. Affirming my place as an artist, while also embracing my responsibility as a mother, inspires me in both my career and my life. When I show up for myself, I show up my best for my family and online community. I get to bring something meaningful to people, sparking joy & provide hope in challenging times.

Subhan, Saleem and Ava are Subhan, Saleem and Ava are now part of our skits and our family endeavors to explore creativity through content creation. Whether it’s bringing to life an idea of Avaʼs or creating a funny concept that Saleem has in mind; each project is an opportunity to explore and develop our artistic skills while encouraging artistic expression in our children. Itʼs a way to bring everybody Itʼs a way to bring everybody closer together as one unit and team. My number one advice is to keep it fun and true to you.

I believe in individualism and I believe in individualism and having a unique style. I don’t have a favourite trend because I believe it’s up to the individual and what they feel best in. There are no rules when it comes to fashion as long as it’s comfortable and you enjoy wearing it. As my 6 year old daughter says, “If you can run and jump in it, itʼs it”!

I want to continue to document my fashion journey, and help to inspire others to be their most confident, true selves. Our social media journey has opened many opportunities for me and my family.
